This portrait is from my first time working with Cynthia Erivo at Tribeca Film Festival. No one knew at the time that she was going to play the role of Elphaba in Wicked other than those involved in the production. When I had my second opportunity to work with Erivo I asked if the green glasses were intentional to hint at the Wicked role. She smiled and nodded yes.
